Its great that you decided to join in on the summer blogging, your answers are great but maybe you could add pictures to make yous post a bit more interesting.
Hey Malachi, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme and I am looking forward to blogging with you this summer!
Thanks for making a great start to your activities. I like the three facts about Maui you have chosen to include. It is cool how you talk about how he tricked his brothers. Do you think he needed to do that?
What kind of older brothers do you think they were?
Malachi, thanks for making a great start on your post about the Waka Ama. I was wondering if you could write a bit more, talking about other things you might or might not enjoy? Think about the rowing, the weather, the team work.
My name is Emiely (pronounced “Emily”) and I work alongside Billy at the Summer Learning Journey!
I was reading your interesting facts about Maui and I have to agree, Maui does sound like quite the trickster doesn't he? He did well to be able to catch the giant fish though! One of my favourite Maui myths is called Maui and the Sun. I'll add a video link so you can watch the story. Let me know what you think it is about!
